Ok, this is another Harry Potter based game, found at
www.rorrpg.com
however, for some reason, when I try to create a character, when I press the submit button, it comes up and says the page can not be displayed. not sure if it is the game itself, or just my internet.
It sounds like an ok game, though.

That's possibly the game itself. Yeah, I'll have to give it a go. O hang on, having said it's probably the game, my laptop used to have issues with some webpages as it is Windows Vista. They're all sorted out now I've set up scheduled updates and everything.

gah. why is it another green dragon clone? I'm getting so sick of these!

Post 4 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Sunday, 03-Feb-2008 0:57:51

Yes, I had seen this one before, and it's the same thing as the green dragon stuff. Ugh, boring.

Post 5 by Daenerys Targaryen (Enjoying Life) on Sunday, 03-Feb-2008 1:18:14

I haven't played this game, but if its like Green Dragon, not sure I really care too.

Post 6 by PrincessCarlie (Account disabled) on Sunday, 03-Feb-2008 1:24:39

For those of you who dont like Green dragon, nobody told you to play it. It is simply another game for people to check out, if they wish.
As I said, I havent played it yet, so dont know what it is like, but, as the saying goes, you dont know until you try, so... *sighs*

I just want to see something original. I think it's great that people take the existing LOGD core and change it around a bit. But It would be so interesting to see someone actually write something from scratch and do their own thing. and I pointed out the green dragon thing to save people the bother of wasting time to check it out if they weren't in to that. hey. if a green dragon clone is your thing, then cool. Have fun I say. You're right that people don't have to check out every link posted, but then I think if someone wants to check it out and post a negative review, then that's perfectly fine.

Post 8 by PrincessCarlie (Account disabled) on Sunday, 03-Feb-2008 1:59:17

I am not saying that negative reviews are not fine, or welcome, I mean, that is your opinion, and that is cool.
And, when it comes down to it, I am not the biggest fan of LOTGD either, but seeing as there are not all that many other options out there, I still check them out. They are not all the same, I have seen plenty of different ones before. some good, some bad.
It all comes down to personal opinion and choice.

well, like liam said, his saying it's another green dragon thing saved me the time to check it out. i mean there are enough of those things, where the only differences are some location names or creature names and that's all or almost all the changes...
and i think when games are based on some characters like for example harry potter games, they would be great, if they really had anything to do with it...

Post 10 by PrincessCarlie (Account disabled) on Sunday, 03-Feb-2008 15:42:49

Hmmm, there are games out there with other changes too,
and, I also know of Harry Potter games, that are actually based on Harry Potter...

Post 11 by midnight sun (you can't catch me, i'm the palobread man) on Sunday, 03-Feb-2008 15:50:10

I've just looked at the www.xauror.com website and couldn't work out how to register. Could anyone help, please?

Post 19 by Harmony (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Friday, 22-Feb-2008 13:03:20

I've managed to register with the harry potter website now, but the couple of games I tried to play don't seem very accessible. I think you've got to use the mouse or something.

Post 20 by EarthsAngel (Account disabled) on Friday, 22-Feb-2008 20:15:08

Yes, I joined there too, but Not a lot of that site is accessable.
